YES! We offer instruction and/or services for quilting, repurposing clothing and up-cycling linens.
NO. We do not hem pants or do alterations on wedding dresses.
Quilting is done on a Gammill Vision using free-hand, edge to edge designs. Artfully Sew’s specialty is custom, one-of-a-kind designs on both bed quilts and art quilts. Prices are determined by the size of the quilts and the complexity of the design.
At Artfully Sew, Angela Jean also experiments with unique upcycling and repurposing projects – Grandma’s linens, favorite jeans, old wedding dress, you name it! Watch as she turns T-shirts and old clothing into memorable and lovable quilts and tote bags. She often shares her techniques, tips and tricks to help YOU Artfully Sew!
Are you stuck on a project that you are sewing, quilting or up-cycling? Angela is here to help. Come to the Artfully Sew Studio with your project and supplies to get assistance with your project. Angela will coach you one-on-one to help you on the next steps so you can finally finish that thing and get ‘er done. Cost of service is charged by the hour.
If you feel more comfortable working at your own home, or your project is too difficult to transport, Angela does travel! In-home service is available for an additional charge.

Classes Coming Soon!
In-person classes will soon be available for different projects (T-shirt bags, zipper pouches, scrappy angels) as well as learning different skills (hand-embroidery, creative patches for clothing, quilting on a domestic machine). Most classes will be 1 day, but may include multiple sessions for more intricate classes such as making T-shirt quilts, planning your first patchwork quilt and more. Price of class TBD.
