Holy holes!

My favorite jeans were getting pretty shabby. A few months ago I tried to fix the hole with some embroidery stitches. But the hole was working its way in every direction. I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time finding jeans that fit. I wanted to do all I could to make these jeans last a bit longer.

Really Red

Since red is my favorite color, I grabbed my bin of red fabric scraps. I keep all of my scraps from various past projects in bins sorted by color. To add a bit of variety, I added some purple as well.

Making a Patchwork Patch

I had fun coming up with this patchwork patch that covered the hole very well. I also made one for the oposite leg to balance out the look.
